Intentional Activity:
Planned TV Time
PLAN to watch a specific show at a specific time. Let your child pick something they want to watch, and get into it just as much as they do. Sit next to them, laugh along, engage, be intentional!

Even if you do not have a TV subscription, Nextflix, or anything paid, find a show on YouTube. It can be a quick 5-10 minute video or a 30 minute show. Either way, turn your TV/tablet into a tool to be intentional with your child.
It doesn't have to be educational. It is ok for it to simply be for fun and amusement. And even though it will probably not be something you want to watch, be sure to get just as excited for it as your child.
Last note, put your phone or any other distraction down. Be present, even while watching TV with your child. Make something as simple as a TV show an intentional activity!
